The UK also confirmed that the Virgin Islands Constitution (Interim Amendment) Order 2022 is expected to be formally revoked in March 2026.

He outlined the House of Assembly's review of all 57 CRC recommendations and confirmed that the negotiating team would be taking a united position to talks with the United Kingdom.

(Caribbean National Weekly) – The House of Assembly approved a motion establishing the Constitutional Negotiating Committee, formally clearing the way for the Virgin Islands to begin constitutional reform discussions with the United Kingdom. The motion passed without debate, with the Committee mandated to represent the territory in negotiations grounded in the 2007 Constitution and the work completed by the CRC and House of Assembly.
